- Passion4Football
has arisen out of well.. my passion for football! I've always
been mad about the game, not just watching the odd match
but everything there is to see and do. I feel football is
such a huge thing, yes there are great stadia, matches,
players and coaches but I also get a buzz for example watching
the Copa Libertadores or hearing all the latest transfer
rumours, no matter what a load of rubbish they are.
I feel there is so much more to the beautiful game, and
hopefully some of the stuff on this website is quite unlike
what you are used to seeing on other football websites.
Passion4Football is intended to take a firm dive into the
world of alternative football- or in other words basically
what I want to go on this website.
Thankfully this isn't my first venture into the wacky world
of web mastering, I have before run a relatively successful
Championship Manager website known as 'CM Evolution'.
You may well have not heard of it, but that's okay as it
was fun doing that which is why I am back for more. I suppose
I had better stop droning and tell you a little more about
what this site is? Here goes:
• Regular Columns- some great football related
literature about current affairs in the beautiful game written
by a team of awe-inspiring writers (or just me in other
words)
• Features- kind of hard to explain. Features
aren't really about what's happening in the football world
at the moment. If you want an idea then they might involve
predictions of new transfers, comparisons of great stadiums
or a 'will they, won't they' analysis of new managers and
promoted teams. Much more than just that of course.
• Raging Bull- Internet fanzines and columnists
often disappoint me in that they don't entirely speak their
mind. The Raging Bull will hopefully change this, in a no
holds barred review of the past week of football.
• Top Tens- a run down of anything even vaguely
football related. These are again very opinion based, and
again if I miss out something then I'm sorry (as I don't
know everything okay!). It may be one week I decide upon
the top ten celebrations or the top ten haircuts even. From
the bizarre to the brilliant, the top tens are designed
to more than raise an eyebrow or two.
• Passion4Sport- there are other great (and
not so great) sports too you know. Anything that isn't to
do with football, whether it be columns, features, the raging
bull or top tens goes here.
It doesn't seem like a huge amount of content does it? Well
let me assure you my promise to average at least six
new pieces of varied and informative pieces of content
a week. There are four or five other areas that I am looking
into and when/if the site takes off then we should see some
more.
So there you have Passion4Football is hopefully one day
going to be a great alternative football read. Want something
a little different to all the usual news, tables and interviews?
Then you've come to the right place as you are in for a
treat.
